i had 285s just by turning up my keys and putting 2 in spacers in the rears, but i also have a buckstop bumper and a 12000 lb winch im sure that helps it sag back down

Im running 285/75/16 Toyo M/T. Torsion bars cranked up almost all the way and 2" spacers between the rears. When this wear out going with a set of 35s and some chrome 17". After a 4-6" lift of course.

285/70/17 is alil taller than 285/75/16s. Both are considered a 33" tire.

Do you run any spacers in the rear? Any rubbing between tires with a heavy load? I like that tire combo, I don't want to deal with spacer and such. The pictures in your garage, are they with that tire combo? Can you post a good one here?

thanks, FAST

No spacers between the rear rims.

I had 235 Bridgestone Revo's all around until I changed them a couple of month's ago. The Revo's were close on the rears but they did not touch, I kept them at about 55psi for a little softer ride. with 80 psi they should be good with a heavier load, but still close.

My new set of tires are Cooper Discover ATR and even though the rears are still 235's they are skinnier than the Revo's and will carry a heavy load without rubbing for sure.

The front 265's fit no problem with the stock size rim's.

The front's and rears are within about 1/10 of an inch of each other diameter wise. 31.7 for the 235's and 31.6 for the 265's, Since I only use my 4wd when plowing snow I shouldn't have any driveline issues with this setup.

The pictures in my garage are of my old Revo's

My truck's in the shop now, when I get it back, hopefully next week sometime, I'll take some new pictures of the tires for you.

235 Goodyear Wranglers touch in the rear without spacers. Several thousand miles towing with the set-up without any problems to date. Still probably not a good idea having the rears touching.

What size spacers are you running front and rear? How big of a lift? I need new tires for my truck and want something more than normal. 285/75 is the biggest I read you can fit with a 2" spacer in the rear and a leveling kit. I've seen trucks with those and they still look tiny. A 285 is fine (11.50" wide) but I think something taller than roughly 33" is needed to fill the wells. 315/75 are almost 36" right? I have leveled the front. From the center of my front hub to my fender well lip is 25 1/2". The front should be 3" taller than factory.

315/75/16s are about 34.5. To figure out the tire height its width (315) x height ratio (75) x 2. Then divide that by 2550 and add that number by the rim size.

Does any one else know what size lift and spacers are need to fit 315/75r16? I can see cbrews2001 torsion bars so he must have an actual lift kit. Are 285/75 the largest you can fit without an actual lift kit?
