I want to beef up my tranny to give myself some security while running my predator on 85. Id like to be able to bump it up to the 120 tune. I have 1,300 bucks +/- a hundred or so dollars that I can put into my tranny as soon as tomorrow. What should I do. Could I do a converter for that much money? Anyone have any recommendations as to who could/would do it in the Northern California area, bay area out to sacramento.
thanks

I think that will almost cover the purchase price of a converter.
Keep saving your pennies!

That amount ( 1300.00 ) would not cover my cost on the parts. Save up some more money and treat the Ally easy till you are ready. Please do not buy something cheap, for your own sake. Good luck.

wow i guess i mustve been misguided. some guy around here told me i should be able to get the converter, installed, out the door, labor and all for like 1500. I was surprised when he told me that, hes a dodge guy though, figures. I looked on the suncoast page and theyve got the converter (triple disc) listed for 12 and change. How long is an install on one of these?

Save at least 3200 and get a nice Trans from Suncoast.
Something that will easily handle an extra 150 HP
Unless you plan on going nutso.... then you best save a few dollars more
