I'm looking to install this unit, The reason I choose this unit is that I do not need the NAV system that the D3 or the Z3 offers I got a Garmin awhile back and I still never use it, But would hate to piss of the miss's becasue she is the one that got it for me..
I know I'm going to need some extra stuff for it to hook it to the Bose system and I think I have figured all that out,
One of my questions is, if you have installed it were there any issues with it or your system
thanks

Once again I do need a nav unit that is way I have looked at this one plus its got a 7" screen instead of a 6"1 screen any info would be greatful

if you need the navigation i advise you to stay away from the pioneers, im trying to switch to a kenwood dnx 8120, full garmin nav, 5 volt pre outs and a independent 16 band eq for front and rear. its a badass head unit. the D3 in my opinion was the best one pioneer put out. im just trying to find someone to trade their 8120 but no one will sell there.
i havent herad anything bad about the avh6000 but you probably wanna go check out avic411.com its a good site you can get some info on. if you in it for nav tho i say stay away from pioneer.

The more I look at this project the more I wanr to do so of course I now I want to just rip out the bose system completely. So I'm still going a head with the HU AVH-P6000DVD and all the stuff listed in the above post, I went out and got a different sub its got 2 ten JL's that fit behind the rear seat I have 2 Amps that I took out of the ford one is a 375 that will power the amp and the other one is a 500 4 channel that I want to power the door speakers My question is I would like your opinion on a good set of front and rear door speakers I know they are 6 3/4 and some say JL's some say POLK some say Boston, then others say Infinity so I would like to know which ones? i will say money is in issue but I want to do this one time, and I'm willing to pay for quaility stuff. I know I have to also get PAC OS-2 to do this so I'm ok with that, then the other thing is what about the A and B piller tweeters?
I know some of you have done this so please spread the info
thanks
