Ok, a buddy got me some 03 fog lights. I have them installed. Cut the air dam,ok.
Now, I do not have the factory wiring harness on my truck. If I do I can not find it. Have looked all over the frame. I do have the factor switch in the dash.
At the fuse block I have a fuse in the fog lights, but no relay (easy to get).
Question is can I just ground one wire from the lights and hook the other up to the fuse block(relay). If so witch one. I have power at both of the termnals (going from left to right - both of the right term top and bottom have power, on the left the top one is a ground). About both terms having power is my switch bad.
Does someone sale just the wiring harness or switch (part numbers please)?
Switch has blue with white trace, brown with white trace, and black with white trace.
A little help would be greatfull

If the truck didn't have the foglights, it will not have the harness already installed.

You can get the harness, but would probably be cheaper to get the whole fog light kit with switch and relay ( $100ish )

Even if you have the harness, switch and relay, you'd have to locate the power wire for the lights in the right pin UNDER the fuseblock) then once everything is hooked up, you'd still have to go back to dealer and get the BCM flashed to make them work with the factory switch.

Some one may have a better explaination, but in short, this is how it works.

Leave it to the General to confuse the simplest things.
