i was just wondering if a 6.5 and a 6.2 crank are the same? ive heard some poeple say they are and some say they wasnt sure. so i thought id ask the masters.

yes and no
the last couple years of 6.2, when they changed to a one piece rear seal, are the same. the early years are a 2 piece seal and are different

I thought the stroke on the 6.5 was .020 longer? The 6.2 have 2 piece rear main seals except for some of the last ones around 1992. The 6.5 cranks use 1 pc rear main seals.
