Last week while making a left hand turn, I was looking at my mirror and all of a sudden it just quit blinking. It didn't work the rest of the way home. The next day it was working again. It worked for a week and the yesterday morning it was really cold and it wasn't working again. But I did notice that it does light up, just really really dim. So dim that you can see it during the daylight. It hasn't come back on yet. I checked the plug in the door and it seems fine. Any suggestions?

Are they folding mirrors, that you fold somewhat often? The wires inside the mirror at the joint may be getting damaged and shorting open.
Just a thought.

Here's an update. The mirror still isn't working right. There are 7 LED's and the middle 3 don't blink at all and the top 2 and bottom 2 blink, but extremely dim. I took apart the door panel again and unplugged and replugged back in and wiggled the wires all the way up to the mirror and nothing. It just bothers me because it was working and them it went dim and worked again the next day and then went dim again. How hard is it to replace the glass?
