Just put the straight pipes on yesterday, finger and plate in mail, wtf is going on? After i cleared the code with my hypertech truck ran good again. :confused: :confused: :confused:

Don't worry about it! I had the same code along with the usual....401,404. I just cleared and kept going!

Im a little worried cause i dont want to get this while towing my 15k lb trailer up grades and only being able to go up to 2000rpms, will the computer get used to the underboost and leave me alone and also will this damage anything. Will the fingers stick or egr plate help at all? also how often does it come on for you?

I don't think the computer will get used to it without intervention. The stick and plate "should" help. Post when you get them in and let us all know the resuts.

I also got the same P0299 along with P0401 and P0404 codes..I went down to Autozone and got them cleared up! running fine as wine again!

I got the code for a third time and went back into "limp" mode. (Wont boost after about 2500 rpm) Then i towed my 48' gooser 250 miles and no code as of yet, i took the programmer out then reinstalled it. No more p0299 but well see.... finger on the way

Got the code again today, also got my plate today but wont install until i get the stick, hopefully it fixes it!

I had that same problem. P0401, P0404 and P0299. I put in my fingerstick and cleared the codes. They haven't come back yet. I will be installing the EGR plate sometime this week. I got side tracked this weekend with installing my pyrometer and boost guage. It came out awesome!!!

I have not seen those codes pop back up. I dont have the fingerstick or the EGR plate...I guess i'll just see what happens next....
