Just wondering what seems to be about the average price for a complete 6 inch kit install on our trucks? I was quoted 1,000 bucks...

There's quite a lot involved from what I saw when mine was done. We did the 6 inch rcd on my brother's truck the other night, took around 10 hours. Pretty simple actually, and we didn't use a hoist, just jacked it up on the floor of the shop. Stuck some jackstands under the front frame horns. His truck is a 98, but the kit is basically the same for all the chevy trucks now. If I got a lift for my hd I would just do it myself. All we had someone else do was the alignment.
