Is there a warranty with PPE on labor and products? I could not find anything in relation to warranty except to contact them.

I had my PPE intercooler bought from ATS and installed by ATS in Arvada about 6 months ago and now it cracked along the welds. I was not pushing hard, pushing 30 psi more or less when i heard a pop and thought maybe a hose had popped or came off and it was a cracked intercooler. PPE says they shipped the new unit but will not cover warranty for labor. Is this the way PPE operates?

Also you see the round welded part left of the crack,,,on the opposite side ( inside facing radiator)there is one but it unwelded itself and shot out like a bullet.

That's the way most companies operate. Consider yourself lucky if a shop covers labor under warranty also.

ATS installed it?

did you ask them if they would install the new unit for you? maybe you can go that route since PPE is not the ones that installed original.

Consider yourself to be really lucky.... PPE is sending you a new one, normally most places would have you send back the defective part and make you wait for it to be repaired.

No shop is going to cover Repair Labor...ESPECIALLY if they weren't the ones that Installed the Part.

Finally the intercooler came in today and got it installed. It was time consuming and took a good 8 hours, PITA was the two bolts on the lower fan shroud to brackets.
I ran it half throttle and boost climbed to 40 psi on mid level on Bully Dog. I will torque down the front end, get a set of Cognito centerlink, pitman and idler braces and have them installed and see where I stand before going to EFI Live. I am hoping I'll run high
12's.I have to look for someone besides Nick and Rob,,,, who are not comfortable to set it up for me with all my ATS add ons. If there are someone who can set up my EFI , PM me and we'll talk.
