Shopping for some winter only tires for the van. Nothing in the 245/75/16's. Discount tire web site says the 'plus zero' sizes are 235/85/16 and 265/75/16. The 265's are the same as on my silverado, and there are winter only options for this size. I know, go out and take one off the truck and put it on the van.... But its dark and cold out, and I'm kinda lazy. So has anyone run 265's on their van?

I run BFG commercial traction TA's on the rear in 245/75/16. Very good in the snow and you can stud them.
Who makes a plus zero?

Had some time inbetween jobs today, so I gave it a try.

No way in the world were the 265's from my truck on MB wheels going to fit on the van. Maybe on factory wheels, but it would be close. oh well.

stopped by the tire store today. offset was about an inch different from van to truck. and the mb wheels on the truck are wider than the stock van wheels. they said the 265s would fit and shouldn't have any clearance issues. they look better too. there goes my mpg's. just got to decide on a brand now.

Here is some pics on my camera phone. Don't know if they do them justice or not. They look alot better than the stock 245's. I can actually hear in the van again with the Michelins. Since we have had snow, every time I back into my drive with the trailer on the tires spin. No spinning at all with these.

I never really checked the mpgs after the 265's. Then I sold the dmax van right after that.

Did put 265's on the 99 van :)
