How many people on here are running a fuel pressure guage? When I start installing guages on my truck I was planning on putting one on mine. I feel it could help me out on diagnostic reasons if I could monitor what the fuel pressure is doing all the time.

What do you think?

Thanks for the response in advance!

I am running an Autometer electric fuel pressure gauge. I put the sensor between the fuel filter and the water drain. It was easily accessible. I believe this is still on the "dirty" side of the filter, so the pressure measured downstream of the filter may be lower. It provides great feedback on LP operation. I also wired a green LED to the LP positive lead. If the light is green, the LP is getting power. It will let me know if the OPS ever gives out.

I get one electric, from Glow Shift.
I have placed the fuel press sensor between the lift pump and the fuel/water separator (DAHL), wich is itself placed before the stock fuel filter.
Some would recomend to put the sensor at the drain T-valve wich is just before the pump---

That's a real improvement, as you can monitor your fuel pressure. This is how I knew my previous LP failed.

About the OPS, the relay mod helps a lot ;)

I hop in my friends truck and I notice 2 boost gauges. One for boost, one for fuel pressure!!! LOL, I found it pretty funny and inventive. A cop pulls you over and sees two boost gauges in the truck he probably wont think much of it. Sees a boost and fuel pressure gauge in the truck, might write you up.
