try putting it under the cup holder in the console. it just pops out and there is some room under there.

How big is it (inches)? Why not behind the back seat?

I bolted mine to back of the pass. rear seat. Had enough room for my amp(10in x 14in) and a one Farrad(sp) cap. It still leaves you with the drivers side to store stuff.

I've been looking at mounting it behind the rear seat but I wasn't sure if there was enough airflow back there.

Its an Audiobahn A8002T, its out in the garage. I'm not sure the dimensions on it. It does get fairly warm when its in a tight location.

Behind the rear seat will be fine, but Audiobahn well they suck.

Bolted mine behind the rear seat. Mine's digital so heat isn't really a problem.

For the price of the Audiobahn good luck finding a better product.

But we all know what they say about opinions.

But we all know what they say about opinions. If that amp doesn't work for you, I have a Rockford Fosgate Power 200.1 amp for sale. It is specifically designed to drive subwoofers. It has a built in cross-over, and also has a remote bass gain adjuster knob, which works well to increase or decrease the level of bass at any time. It's way more amp than I need any more, I'm probably not even going to change the stereo system in my new truck, other than maybe upgrade the rear speakers some day. PM me if you are interested, if not, good luck and enjoy your tunes!

you can mount it to the back wall of the cab no problems, just up the size of power and ground wire along getting a ground point.

I had this same setup in my last truck (dodge ram) all that is new is the box and I bought a new wiring kit just because. Both setups were using a 4 guage scosche. I like the setup. But to each his own I suppose. I have looked all over the inside of the cab looking for places to mount this thing. I was thinking either behind the rear seat or maybe a custom console extension. I just wanted to see what others were doing. :) It never hurts to get opinions from all types of people. Whether you like them or not. It all adds to the creativity.

Thanks to all that posted. I will put some pics up when I get finished to see if I pass the inspection of the boards or not.
