I purchased the USA*SPEC interface from Crutchfield for my truck. When I initially installed it last week, it worked fine, but the hybrid mode was inaccessible. I called Crutchfield, and after a few minutes worth of trouble shooting, the decided to send out a new interface. I installed the second PA11-GM today, and the same deal, no hybrid mode. I'm I missing something, as both Crutchfield and the enclosed directions with the interface say it should work in hybrid mode in my truck?

what ipod are you trying?
touch and iphone may have trouble in hybrid mode.

80 GB Classic. According to Crutchfield, USA*SPEC says that if your iPod is kept current via updates, it won't work in hybrid mode. They're both going back, I'm not installing it if it can't work as advertised.

x2 - Wifes worked, son's didn't. I updated the sons and his worked afterwards.
