I have the Phillips Rallye bulbs on my truck - 70w and 100w. They have been on for over 3 years, and I have been looking for replacements before I lose one. I really like them, so following advice from this forum, I decided to contact Diesel Services Group of Canada (www.dieselservices.com) to see if they would sell me the bulbs separately (I already have the Kennedy harness). I e-mailed Trent Millard, who responded that he woud be happy to sell them to me and gave me numbers to reach him (he is in Saskatoon). Everything was as advertised, and service was quick.
Trent is great to deal with, and I woud recommend him to anyone looking for that particular bulb. He said that I could pass his information on to this group, so for those of you interested, call 1-800-667-6879. When answered, punch 1 to get transferred to Saskatoon. When prompted for an extension, enter 7440.

Are these bulbs brighter than the GE Nighthawks? Also do they require the kennedy diesel wiring hardness or will they work with a stock harness?

Thanks

I do not have a comparison, but would guess they are brighter because of the higher wattage. The headlight wiring on my '02 is really small, so the Kennedy harness does help to prevent overloading the wiring, as it uses bigger wire and relays to hook the lights directly to the alternator. I drive a lot at night, so good lighting is a must, and that combo works as well as anything I have ever used.

i know this is an old topic, but i just ordered some of the phillips rallye bulbs from Trent and they should be here in a few days, good guy to work with.

my driver side low beam just went out, they were installed in October of 2002 so for high output bulbs, they lasted pretty long. i will have several spares on hand now, as I ordered enough to last for a while.

if you have been considering higher output bulbs, you will be amazed how much more light you get than other "premium" bulbs offered by sylvania and others. :thumb:
