I only found one other thread on this through search.

So I went to pull my bushwacker pocket-style fender flares out of storage today to make sure they are ready to get line-x'd. I notice the part number on the box is labeled as 99-02 with p/n 40917-02. Bushwacker's website uses that part number for Chevy 99-02 and for GMC 99-06. It uses a separate part number for Chevy 03-06. My truck is a 2004.

I don't want to pay to have these coated and find out they don't fit right. The thread I found through search only got a couple of replies saying difference between 02 and 03 didn't matter.

They Don't. I ordered a pair off of EBAY and they were rated 99-07.5. I searched for about a week to find a good price and every pair said they would fit. You should've have a problem, all the holes are the same in the inner fender lip as well as the body lines.

Thanks Steve. I just made my appointment with the local Line-x shop.

Glad to help :beerchug: Post some pics when they are thru bud, I'm gonna eventually rhino-line some things around that area.

Any particular reason you would go with the rhino line? I read several threads discussing the differences and settled on Line-X. My dually's bed has line-X and I'm very happy with it.

Sweet truck by the way. I still wish I had gone with the Cognito 10-12, but my wife is only 5' and already has a hard time getting in.
