A friend of mine has a 2003 chev (52000 mi) that will not start. He took it to the dealer and they think the fuel punp failed. They told him that it is not covered under waranty. Is that statement true? Just if you were wondering it sounds like it lost its prime. (Some times if you push the accelerator it will fire right up) You guys are great keep it up.

is this diesel or gas? It may not matter.. that may be covered under the 3/36 warranty so unless he has an extended one he may be out of luck. Don't quote me on that though.

Should be warranty- they covered mine at 48k, wouldn't cover the fp regulator but would cover the whole pump, less my 100 deductiable.
