Bluedieselride 03-23-2005, 07:20 AM A friend of mine has a 2003 chev (52000 mi) that will not start. He took it to the dealer and they think the fuel punp failed. They told him that it is not covered under waranty. Is that statement true? Just if you were wondering it sounds like it lost its prime. Page #8 of the warranty booklet begins coverage info on 6.6 Duramax warranty coverage and plainly states that fuel pump is covered to 5 years/100k miles, subject to a deductible of $100 after 3years/36k. Page 18 shows coverage for the "Diesel Fuel Injection Pump" under Emission Warranty Parts List for 7 years/70k. | ||
