I don't get any juice at the hot pin under the dash where the harness plugs in any idea what to check for. I checked my dads truck and his is hot, so mine must be burnt up. Maybe a fuse but I tried to locate them and they all looked good. Any Ideas? Thanks

I dont remember which one, but one of the "large" fuses in the underhood box is it. The lid should be marked.

Its usually 30 or 40 amp stud number 1 I believe.

Stand on the driver side right in front of the front wheel, look straight down. See that flat/mushroom shaped lid? Take it off.
On the very top left hand side should be the 30 amp fuse, if its not in there that's the issue. Mine was all taped up w/ my trailer brake harness thing I got when i bought the truck. I had to peel away the parts tag to get the fuse in there.

If I remember right there is also a fuse on the inside panel that can cause it not to work to. I believe it was a 10 amp fuse. Had that happen to mine.

Guys, it worked once but then it shorted out again, any idea where to start looking. Taking off with my tahoe on the trailer in the morning and would like to have the brakes working. Thanks guys

If the fuse blew without the trailer hooked up and you used the controller then check at the plug connection at the back of the truck, make sure it's clear of water or crap and make sure none got in on the wiring side of the plug too.
If that looks good then keep tracing the wiring harness back towards the front along the frame rail and see if there are any rub spots or burnt markings, it could be anywhere.

If the fuse blew with the trailer hooked up then check the trailer side of the wiring.
