Hey guy's I want to beef up the stock bose system. I have a phoenix gold zx250 amp and a pair of jl audio 8" subs, that will go behind the seat. I tried to use this amp with my stock 98 chev deck and it wouldn't work properly becuase of the low frequecy I guess. Is there any way I can use this amp in my 03. Could I splice off the stock bose amp:rocking:

Something doesn't sound right. Your sub amp woudlnt' work right because of low frequencies? You mean all the low frequencies were going to the bose sub and you couldn't tap into it? Anyway, there's a company called PAC that makes a bunch of different modules and they might have one that will allow you to tap into the bose system. Send them an Email and they should be able to point you in the right direction. Nice choice on components by the way.

How did this work out for you Cheeky? I have 2 8's mounted in a box that I would like to hook up as well and I did a search and you look like your trying to accomplish exactly the same thing. I have some old POS amp that all it will do is feed the subs but I don't even know where to start. I started by trying to see if the Bose system has an "Amp out", you would think they would have some kind of "RCA" outputs just for this reason but I don't know...thats why I ask:)
