Look for the HOOT method to install the exhaust gauge and there are a few other threads on the BOOST gauge. You will have to decide what will work best for you and your needs... Good luck

And as far as a tan colored pillar, to my knowledge (and I"m about to buy some gauges) they all come in black and you have to paint them to match.here's the paint (http://www.dieselperformanceparts.com/cgi-bin/search.pl/dieselshop?f_success=dieselshop2&e_unique=SP985) You'll also have to get some plastic primer too from there or somewhere else. Good luck with it.

here (http://www.bmdmax.com/Gauges.html.0.html) BDmax made a step bye step instruction sheet for gauge installation. Obvioulsy your setup will be different since you'll be using a a-pillar mount but scroll through all that and you'll see how the sendrs are mounted.

As far as what companies, autometer, isspro, and diprocol all seem to have good reputations around here. I'm leaning toward the isspro's myself because i may get a third gauge and they've got a lot more choices than diprocol. I choose not to get autometers just because I don't like following the pack and having what everyone else has. Although, sometimes that isn't so wise...

get some coffee and use the search feature, all your questions have been asked several times over and have lots of good input already to absorb. Good luck

or you could go to www.kennedydiesel.com and look under tech tips. he has several tips on there.

as for the wiring of the lights to the dimmer switch, it will be the violet/white wire in the harness behind the light switch. that way you lights will work with the other guages.
