I am starting this thread to hear from guys that are running Biodiesel in the new 08's with the DOC and particulant filter still installed. I would like to start running biodiesel and I have a restuarant that is willing to supply me with 90 gallons of used vegetable a month but before I commit to that I would like to hear from some one that is already running it and know if they have had any problems. I do want to eliminate the DOC and particulant filter and replace the exhaust eventually when the funds become available.

Well I just put in some B20, so we will see what that does. I just read the owners manual and it says to use the B5 or less, so I may be in trouble, but we will see. Have you run any bio yet?

New bulletin from gm about sludge in the engine from bio diesel thats more than 5 percent and the related engine issues caused by using the incorrect fuel are not covered under warranty...use caution.

You can - technically - configure your vehicle (or almost any diesel) to run on vegetable oil ... but that's not the same thing as "bio diesel". OK so far? I have read that LMMs are "bio diesel-ready". As far as removing your DPF (diesel particulate filter): you're voiding your warranty and exposing yourself to a potential $2500 fine. No shop is likely to do the work for you, because their exposure is a $25,000 fine. Next?
