Hey Guys, I know it was talked about in the past and I have searched but just can't find the info I am looking for. Being it is getting real cold I thought I would post this question being others might also bennefit from it also.

On my 92 6.5 The terminal that connects to the glow plug itself seems very loose on one of my glow plugs. I was wondering if I have to cut the old terminal off and put a new one on or could i just modify the one that is on there so that it fits tighter.

Thanks.

Pull it off the plug. Clean the spade (plug side) and clean the connector best you can with some light sanding. Pinch the connector closed a little bit with a pliers. Put a small amount of dielectic grease (optional) on the spade and reconnect. That's it. Easy peasey! :)

You can get the terminals from Napa. (usually a box of 50)

The Shell it self, I have not found.

there is a tang in the terminal that holds the shell on. A thin blade will push the tang back and allow you to remove the shell.

If they are loose, remove the shell and crimp the sides down some to tighten the terminal. The push the shell back on, make sure the tang it bent up to catch the shell.
