Add me to the list of people who need the Cognito Pitman Idler Arm Support kit. Looks like I need to save up a bit of extra cash.
Took my truck in to get an alignment, cause I got some new tires and went up a few turns on the T-bars. So I thought I would be safe and just get it aligned. After they were all done they told me there was something loose in the front end, but that did not try to find out what it was.
My truck is still under warranty, so it went to the dealer today. They called this afternoon and said that the found some play in the Idler arm and that they were ordering a new one.
So like I said looks like I will be saving up for Support kit.( Was going to get one anyways) :D
Sorry about the long story, just had to vent.

I see you have the Tie rods to. Which is better, sleeves or the aftermarket tie rods?

Sleeves solve the weak center rod section.
HD tie rods give you over all strength.
Comes down to budget and what you are overall after making stronger.

Dang Nick.... all this time and I just realized you were in the hood.... and I never stopped by...
I was in Monterey for the week (remember Im from Virginia) visiting my Son and it wasn't until the last day I realized you were "close" by.
I wanted to stop by and talk to you and get a workup for my 07.5 extended Cab/standard box 4x4...
Hopefully if I can get back out there in the next 2 months I will get the opportunity to drive by and say howdy and make an order...
Take Care
