What does everyone think of Velvet Ride shackles? Are they worth the money and effort to install?

They acquired the product line from BF Goodrich and originally intended to produce them, but didn't intend to get into retail sales. Subsequently, they never found a distributor. Lord is liquidating the entire stock! I called Patty at Lord early last week and they only had 2 pair of Velvet Ride Shackles left for the GM Trucks. I don't know if they have any left.
