What is happening when you shut down your motor and the turbo chirps?
Is it bearing noise or what?
My buddies LB7 started doing it at around 30k.
I've heard this on more than 1 truck before, including cummins.

Is not the turbo, it is one of the pulleys stopping suddenly and the belt sliding on it. Cummins is famous for it especially the older ones.

I believe there is a TSB for it in the TSB section... by the way, BDPowered is right, it's the belts and pulleys.

thanks guys, I thought it was the turbo, because I have only heard this sound on turbo diesels.
