Got done golfing Sunday & on the way to breakfast my buddy with a BMW X-5(I think the 4.4 Liter) wants to see how fast the new truck is--He's been giving me s!@# for 18 holes for getting rid of the H-2 'cause it was too slow. Now at the stoplight, he says "let's see it." I tell him it takes time for the turbo to spool-up, plus I'm running 35's with stock 3.73's, so I should be blowing past him at about 50 yards. I never did see his tail lights. Not bad for just intake, exhaust & hypertech on 3.

As long as we're on "kill stories" I guess JJ had his first kill the other night, an F350 PSD dually. First he cuts me off trying to merge into traffic, at the next light he dogs it blowing black smoke on everyone. I had a car in front of me so I couldn't show him the Dumax's stuff. But guess who I runs into at the next light? :rolleyes:

Yep, we'll call him "JJ Kill #1". E/J level 3, defuel between shifts, MBRP 4" cool duals ready to go. The light changes he nails his accelerator, so I nails mine! Never even close, I was at least a truck length in front of him within 100' and moving out coming up on a bridge. We were in a 45mph speed zone and I was quickly crunching 70 so I backed er' down. When he passed me he didn't even look my way, but he was limpin' along. :ro) Wouldn't surprise me to find him on a GM lot this weekend! ):h

I told Mama JJ she is going to have to keep my a$$ in the Ford Ranger or I'm going to start racking up tickets, maybe even worse! I can't believe I did that. I expected my mid-life crisis would entail a Mustang 5.0 or something like that, not a diesel truck? Am I the only one this has happened to? ;) JJ :)
