sierradiesel 11-17-2008, 08:07 PM I upgraded my software to 7.5.5 build 73 and 8.1.2 build 43. I also have boot 2.05.04 and firmware 2.05.21. Explorer locks up. I'm guessing that I have something wrong in the v2 like bootblock or firmware. Does anyone know how I can recover from this? EFI Support 11-17-2008, 09:08 PM Hi Dave, The bootblock and firmware combinations you have are not compatible. On page 10 of the Upgrading FlashScan.rtf it details that you need reprogram firmware V2.05.14 to recover your FlashScan device. There is also a nice table detailing what bootblock and firmware is compatible at each stage through our development journey. Once you've done that you can upgrade your bootblock to V2.05.08 and then the latest firmware. Cheers Cindy sierradiesel 11-17-2008, 09:31 PM Cindy, Thanks for the help. I finally got it with help from you and Guy. I now have bootblock 2.06.02 and firmware 2.06.04 and it seems to be working! And I thought that going to the dentist was bad!
