I have spoken to a few others about the fit on the AFE Stage II on the LLY.
Mine is on there, so I'll share some pics for your reference...

First issue is the fit of the big intake tube. It doesn't seem to want to insert in the boots.
The main culprit is the hose clamp on the intercooler pipe. The screw/cam on the clamp is up and hits the tube.
Simply loosen the clamp and rotate it backward toward the firewall and retighten. Now the tube can lay right down on the clamp.:D

So I'm out there taking pics for Larry, and I noticed the tube also hitting the connectors on the computer.

This is no good, as the engine moves around in there and could cause an issue with the computer.

I am going to insert some washers under the inside mounts of the AFE Airbox to give the nozzle some upward angle. That's what it needs. If you push/flex the airbox toward the fender...you'll see the tube move away from the connector about 1/4 inch.

You could also pull it toward the fender and run a zip screw through the fender lip and into the AFE lid.... that'd hold it at the angle needed.

To All, I just got off the phone with AFE. The lady was very helpful. It seems some LLY's are different. In my instance the tube hits on the computer. She said this issue has occured on certain LLY's. She is sending me a new tube and extended turbo inlet connector with information to return the non-fitting tube and coupler.

Also, the lid closest to the fender doesn't quite enclose the filter. The bent down edge pushes down on the air filter.  I guess it'll bend enough, but not too much.

Larry

P.S. Thanks Tim, PM sent:grd:
