Hi, I am new here and I just started looking for a duramax. I know that I want an 06-07 CCSB with an LBZ motor, probably a chevy also. What I am wondering is I have noticed there are LS's LT's and LT3's, is there other ones? What is the difference between them all?

For basics in 06 or 07 the WT is no-frills work truck package, LT1 is most creature comforts, cloth bench seat in front, LT2 has typically cloth buckets and Bose stereo w/ XM possibly Onstar, LT3 is leather buckets (heated) Bose, XM, Onstar - remember these are the typical packages and special order trucks could have any number of different combinations. Does it actually say LT1, LT2, LT3 somewhere on the truck? Also is there even an LS package for the 06's? Thanks for the help.

I know on mine, an 07 GMC sierra, it says SLT right behind the passenger doors, but if the truck has been debadged, it most likely wont say.

As part of the RPO codes located on a decal in the glovebox, it should have a code like 1LT, 2LT, or 3LT. I had my VIN decoded on another thread on this site and this is what my code "3LT" was

I would like to buy a 3LT, something that is fully loaded I guess. Not sure if I will beable to since I am just having a hard time coming across ANY 06 duramax's around my area.

Might want to go across the line (Canada), and go west....plenty of lease backs in Calgary, Red Deer and Edmonton.

What is a regency edition? There is an 06 regency edition chevy forsale locally. It has cloth seats though and a salvage title. Plus he still wants $27,000 for it.

i have a LT and theres not an option that i can't get on my truck its fully loaded. i think the LT3 is 3500 single wheel but not sure. i never seen a LT3 on a dually. well salvage title i would really think some insurance companys will not take them on. plus hes allittle high i should be low blue book value.

Here is a 2500 3LT. So I am assuming the 3LT isn't just for the 3500's. BTW what do you think of this one price wise. KBB is closer to $31K

Nice car BTW. I have a 194x super deluxe and a coupe sitting in the hills at my parents farm rusting away. I need to get it pulled out someday.

my dad has a 06 2500 LLY cc/sb LT and his came with the tv and leather heated seats and same as mine inside.

yeah i have also a 47 fleet just like that one but 4 doorthat i still have to get it out of my 40' trailer and start working on it. i keep it in there so no more rust theres only the floor rust now.

Mines 1LT w/ onstar and XM. It has leather seats(seating surface) but its not buckets seats.

might try autotrader.com to look for a truck. you can really narrow down your search to specific year, color, model, etc. nitroracer, sounds like you have an LT3. on chevys the door emblem with only say LS or LT you will need to look in the glove box for the correct code, 1,2, or 3 as previously stated. gmc will be SLE or SLT, SLT being similar to an LT3

Go west young man. I just bought my 2007 2500HD LT3 4x4 CCSB, with LBZ duramax. It only had 16500 miles and I got it for 30000.00. I've been looking in the Phoenix area for a few weeks and the 06 -07 CK2500 are a dime a dozen. With the econemy the way it is they are cheap. There are several 06 ion autotrader for 26k to 28k.

They are around you might just have to drive to get one.

your alittle high on the price sorry to say but its high need to be around 30K at the max.

Look at the option/upgrades. W/out the plow its only $30K.
I don't understand why people feel $25k for a truck with 50k miles is a good price but a truck with 13k miles for 5k more is over priced.
