I bought my truck used from a dealer and it came with what they called a passive car alarm. It is not like a viper car alarm, it is somehow tied into the factory remote. It will only let you start the truck for a short period after you unlock the doors.
My question is how do I get around this alarm if my remote dies. I get into some remote places hunting and need to know how to start the truck if my remote dies or breaks.
