I used my hptuners to copy a McRats 20/20 tune, and ive been running it ever since. about 3 weeks now. The problem has been happening since the day I installed the tune, at wide open throttle, the trans doesn't shift. It will just hold the rpms at 4000, and never shift unless I back off of it a little bit. Ive heard about the defueling at shifts, but this is really bad. One time i held it wide open to see when it would shift, but it held at like 4000 for 30 seconds until i backed off.
Help Please.

i havent emailed it to them because i thought they only helped with problems with the software, i didnt think they did anything to help with the actual tuning.

Yeah, you might be right on support. Bill still might be able to help you out more. Good luck..

This seems to happen across different programmers. Mine is doing that at 3000 rpm till I let off gas... wonder what the deal is, its a real let down.

My suggestion would be to go back to the stock tune, does it still do it?
Then do one change at a time until you figure out what specifically is screwing with your shifts so you can pinpoint it.

first of all check your shift point and see were your camanding to shift if you want to rev to 4000 you need to raise the tcm rev limmiter, if they are stock shift points usually when a shift hangs its because of fuel, basically a lack there of the tcm refrences fuel during shifting, try a fuel filter change and if that doesnt help run a log file post it up and i'll check it out .in your log the pids you need are camanded fuel pressure, actual pressure , rpm, camanded gear and anything else is extra . hope this helps
