Hi guys, had my '04 D/A for a couple of months now. I went on a "repo" trip with a local auction company yesterday. (Seems like a guy was using stolen checks to buy things with.) Long story short: we picked up the 24' GN this guy bought, headed north to pick up the 4020 JD tractor and JD lawnmower he bought at another sale. I hadn't pulled anything heavy with this truck yet, so was looking foreward to the trip. Total round trip was 346 miles. Lots of hills and pulling back loaded into a head wind. Set the cruise in tow-haul at 57 mph. She pulled the hills easy,only shifted down on one of the hills. Never lost more than 1-2 mph on any hill. Hand calculated mpg at 13.48 for the round trip. Total weight was 21,640#. Even the "repo" went smooth, as the local sherriff went with us.
