ya, my turn 4 a water-pump:mad: is it a pain in the a_ _ & have the dealer install, or tackle it myself ????

I did it on my 03 5.3 Trailblazer. If you generally do all your own maintenance, you can do it. It's not that bad.

Easier than doing one on an old small block, in my opinion.

Remove:
intake tube
2 bolts, 4 push clips on upper fan schroud
fan
serp belt
4 hoses connected to pump
6 bolts to pump
reverse and done
