i recently noticed that after i shut my truck off theres a hissing kinding sound coming from the motor. It does it for about 30 seconds and i cant figure out where its coming from, i think the turbo but not 100% sure...anyone experience the same with there LMM???

A/C system? My truck does the same when I shut off with either the A/C or Defrost on, as the compressor runs in both positions.

A/c gets my vote....can you hold it up to the phone so we can hear it....j/k. I had a customer try and do that today....lol...

But since I don't make mine feel neglected, it could be the fluids, including the A/C and cooling system just equalizing pressures. Are there any other symptoms? Performance issues? If not, wait. Warranty.

I had thought it was the fuel pump that was making those sounds? Ya know, getting ready for the next ride? I don't know...I'm just pulling stuff out of my ass.

its actually something that has to do with either the fuel pump or the glow plugs i believe

There was a tread on this sometime back that will give you some info on this. Can't remember what the conclusion was.

Yes, there have been threads about this in the past. I think it was EGR and/or turbo vane related.
