: 6.5TD Start Revs to 3k Black Smoke Dies?? benkilroy 11-13-2008, 03:47 AM I have a 1995 C2500 6.5TD which was running fine up until last night, driving home it surged and then just died, and since then every time I crank her it starts revs to about 3000rev makes a cloud of black smoke and dies.
