you can find these answers all over this site..but yes you can remove the stock pipes without cutting, but if you want to save time just cut it. the front cat pipe will come out the front after removing the bracket on the tranny, the cat-back muffler pipes will come out with some tweaking in one piece or just cut it after the muffler and save yourself some time. this can all be done in the driveway on the ground, but its easier if you lift the front and/or rear as needed.

I removed it by cutting the muffler off. Also, I used no hoist and did it on my own. Goodluck!

I have a CC/LB 4X4, and I did it without cutting. It was a pain but I did it. I did it just in case I did not like the sound. Looking back I should have just cut it. Love the Banks...

I used a floor jack to lift the rear up until it was at full droop and a hi lift to lift it up front and slid it out in 1 peice foreward. Its kind of quiet for my taste. I think the cat quiets it down ALOT.

yes, I did it in the street with the rear axle on jack stands. you will have to rotate the exhaust during removal, also best to have someone guide it or just be careful becuase you get very close the the lower rear bed area real quick. i only disconnected the four bolts at the down pipe and slid the rest over the axle.

Hello, I cut mine and used a hoist. I cut the tip clamp so it can be rotated and "BANKS" can be read on top of the tip. My exaust tip exits horizontal with a half inch or so clearance with the fender. Looks real cool! The sound is way too quiet for what I expected and has a harmonic vibration at certain conditions but not real bad.
