Does anyone no how to make a stock turbo in a 02 louder?

badass_chris 11-12-2008, 10:31 PM roll your windows down:D Just kdding.... I think I heard that you can take the 6.6 silensor off the truck and cap the hole on your mouth piece. I also heard that you can take an LBZ Kodiac mouth piece and put it on an LLY which makes the turbo a little loader and makes the truck perform a little better. With the kodiac MP, it does not have the opening to the silensor so you do not have to cap it. Billie Estes 11-12-2008, 11:05 PM Were is the silensor at? The exhaust sound at the tail pipe will be virtually the same. A straight 5" exhaust has the best results for tail pipe turbo whine. However the IHI LB7 still won't produce much at the tail pipe no matter what. Even if its louder, its very minimal. For the $5.56 the thing cost me, I really don't care.
