I have noticed a few spots on my 04.5 HD 2500's aluminum wheels where the clear coat has come off and the aluminum is starting to turn white and flake off.Censored I did plow snow with this truck this winter but I don't think that is the problem. I always took it through the car wash after I was done plowing.
What do you guys think could this be a Warrenty issue :help:
Let me know your thoughts. Thanks;)

I'd sure give it a try. I would think this would be part of the rust/corrosion warranty.

Did you use a harsh cleaner on the wheels? It usually takes ten years to do that.

Yep, that's a warranty issue...Unless your did something like pour battery acid on them, which I doubt you did...Take it to the dealer, show the service manager or one of the techs....

I don't think so...in my part of the country the salt and calcium chloride are attacking the clear by the middle of the first winter. :bawl:
