Hey guys, i am going to atempt to change the dredded cooler line on my dads truck, he is going to go to the dealer and pick one up, my question is do i have to drain any fluid to do this? If so do i drain it from the pan? How much do i ahve to drain? Last one, when i go to add fluid if i need to drain do i add while the truck is running or not? Not to up on the auto's so any and all help is appreciated! Thanks guys

Any help guys, i need it! Its leakin pretty good and i would like to get it fixed asap!

No, you do not have to drain any fluid. But be aware that some fluid will leak out when you disconnect the hoses. Not alot, but enough to get a little messy.

Let us knwo how you made out. I have looked at the line that is leaking on mine. it is the shortest one at a bout 16", but the end that is up and over towards the transmission seems very difficult to reach. Not sure how to access this one. Gonna have to one day...next April. Snow has fallen here and my garage only holds a Corolla...not a CCSB.!
I'll just keep adding a bit of Transynd till then.!
