After I started my truck from sitting in a parking lot for a few minutes, I put in reverse and started to back up when I heard this sound....clunk!!!! I put it in park, left it running, and checked out what it could be. After I checked out and found nothing, I noticed a weird smell; like oil burning. But it wasn't oil. It was some other fluid and I couldn't find any leaks what so ever. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

I had read a few other threads of noises like this when putting in gear..if I recall the problem was not enough fluid in the differential. I think there was also a TSB about that as well. Since yours is an 05 you are easily still in warranty, you might take it back and let them check it out.

Thanks for your help!!!:ro) I would take it in, but I have to find a mod friendly dealer out here. If I have to, I will remove the "accessories" and take it in. Thanks again!

Not sure about this one, but I understand that Mark Christopher Chevrolet(Ontario) is a mod friendly dealer. Not speaking from personal experience, but from what I've been told.;) I'll try and make it out to the races as well, but time will tell.
