I've been living with this problem for a while now, and I finally found a reliable source to fix my speedometer. Not only that but a few of the lights have burnt out in my cluster so I'll be taking it out tomorrow and getting it fixed...... So this is my question, it maybe stupid, but I'd rather know then screw something up..... When my cluster is out, is it possible to drive the truck? I know it's stupid and unsafe for multiple reasons but will it log the engine hours, miles, and allow the fuel gage to read properly? Thanks guys, I'll let you know how well the service is once I get it back!

I'm certain that I read it here that the vehicle can be driven without the cluster, but I can't seem to find the threads.

Alright, I am not to worried about the miles and hours.. I'm going to keep this truck forever... My biggest concern was the fuel gage. Besides a broken speedo, this thing can cause nightmares, and I didn't want it to be reading something that's incorrect. Thanks man!

I have driven my truck for a couple days without my cluster in probably 2 years ago and have never had any problems, I say go for it

it will NOT log miles and engine hours. that is all controled by the cluster itself.
