My wife just pulled off the hiway and said she heard a beeping noise. Finally tracked it down to the attitude monitor. It was flashing EGT 1450  and the audible alarm was going off. She was driving 60 mph and slowed down into town. Truck was running fine, just wondering if there is any thing other than a malfunction with the pyro that would cause this. Has anyone else had trouble with the pyro? I also heard the alarm earlier today when I pulled off the hiway but thought it was my heater fan squeaking. Hearing is not what it used to be. For me it was chirping at an idle. Just about to make a 2k trip and don't want any trouble with this thing. Its been working perfect until now. Edge & *** is about 8 mo. old. Any ideas?

Dont drive in the high power levels for extended periods of time, keep it on the lower ones to preserve your engine and tranny, DONT tow in high power levels

is your pyro in before or after the turbo?

The pyro is before the turbo and we have been running in level 1. EGT usually is aroung 650 to 700 just cruising.

I don't see how you could get to 1450 with the Juice on 1. I normally run it on 4 and have to plaster the thing to get even close to those levels.
If one of the wire connections on the thermocouple breaks (even for a moment) it will give it crazy temp data. I was at a dyno day where a guy thought he would be quick and just pulled one t/c wire so that the Juice wouldn't defuel when making dyno blasts to high EGTs. Anyway, after he pulled the one wire, it read 2000+ F (cant remember the actual number) and we chuckled about it. Unhooked the other wire and it read 68F.....and voila, no defuel.
Check your connections maybe. And t/cs do break and act funny.

My juice was doing that, Level 1 around town no throttle, 2210F EGT's. Call Edge and tell them whats going on, they should send you a new one, they did for me.

I had same thing happen. first you need to ohm the probe. Should be between 1.5 and 2.5 ohms. If probe is ok then you need to call edge and get a new juice. Edge will take care of it.

Thanks guys, I will call edge tomorrow. I did it a couple times today. Always after a hiway run. The egt's were flashing b/t normal and 1500 at idle so I guess its a edge problem. Was working well, I hoped I had a good one. Maybe I could trade up to the hot juice? Thanks for all the advice.
