I am getting ready to swap my OEM pwr/fold/heated/turn signal mirrors with a guy that has OEM power extend(tow)/turn signal etc. My truck is '03 2500HD crew 4x4. His is '04 2500 ext cab 4x4. My question is "is it a simple swap"? i.e. same connectors plug and play?
Thanks...

Thanks... I called my local "STEALER" and was told $78.00!!! each truck. Will any of the functions work without re-programing? if so what?
Thanks again for the help...

Completed the swap today. Went well thanks to the folks on this site. I now have pwr extend tow mirrors. I just can't retract them...All other functions work as required. I guess it's off to the "Stealer" for re-programing...
Thanks again for all the info...

Well I took my truck in to my local dealer to get my mirror module re-programed and they couldn't do it? I had pwr folding, heated, turn signal, curb view assist and traded someone for OEM pwr extending camper/towing mirrors. I was told by many here that it was a simple task to re-program. Is my dealer/service tech just not smart at this, or is there something else I should know (or they should know)? He said "there was a software conflict he couldn't overide".
The tow mirrors came off an '04 Silverado, mine is an '03.
Thanks for any help...
