which is the A plug on the transmission? I have the new wire harness plug and it has 3 wires on it.

I did this on my monte carlo but its now in storage.

From what i recall its either the left or right most forward pin.

Anybody know which one?

I believe it is the left, forward.

If in doubt, look at the schematic or manual. On the plastic connector going through the transmission, you will see four holes, three with metal terminals and one blank hole. On the outside row towards the rear of the transmission AND diagonally from the blank hole on the inner row is TERMINAL A. Terminal D is on the outside row towards the front. The blank hole is always C. Terminal B is on the inner row to the rear. The key or latch component is also on the outside (away from the center of the transmission) of the connector.
