skandlus 11-12-2008, 01:10 AM does anyone have any info on a 2nd extended warranty? this is for an 06 Duramax, currently has extended warranty to 85K, w/74K on the truck. dealership says if an additional warranty is wanted it has to be done by 75K, the additional 10K will be prorated back. My dealer is pretty tight! I have the extended warranty right now, I take it into my local shop have them check it then I take it to the dealer and tell them what's wrong and I just have to pay a fifty dollar deductable! I only have 40k on the truck the warranty was only to 36k or somethin. I'd rather pay fifty bucks then a huge bill at the shop!!! Any GM dealer can tell you the warranty info; all they need is the VIN. You can also call GMPP and they will tell you.
