I was driving to Texas to a tournament towing the boat. Filled up in Pueblo Co so I was running on fumes when I got to Amarillo. Had to stop at a light and when I accellerated RPM seemed to be limited to 2000 RPM but I was able to get to 70 in 6 gear. I checked for codes there were none. I filed the tank and everything was fine. After filling up I estimate I was down to less than a gallon.

Is there a limiter when the fuel level gets too low?

Initially I thought it was the fuel filter but everything was fine after filling up.

Low fuel, sucked air into the cp3 (fuel pump), low fuel pressure, limp mode? Cycle key (when fueling) problem solved?
Maybe?

I thought of that but I would have expected a code. Seems like the most likely cause.

No it doesnt go into limp mode. I completely ran mine out of fuel before, got a few low pressure codes and a bad fuel filter message, then it shut off lol. It ran shitty for about 3 miles down hill before it finally was out.

That was the trip from hell, lol.
