I apologize if this is a repeated or dumb question, but how are you guys checking your injector balances?

I am have a problem with my 04.5 knocking and missing at 1500 rpm part throttle, and the dealer can't find anything wrong. The problem is intermittent, and the knock sounds like a gas motor knock.

Any help would be greately appreciated.

I think the only way to verify the balance rates is through the dealers Tech II scanner..but I believe the Predator can do it as well..someone correct me if I am wrong.

1500rpm is right about when boost starts building and I know mine does get a bit louder when under boost.

It's not the engine getting louder, it is definately a knock or an injector not getting fuel.

do you use any additives? You might try some Stanadyne or something to lubricate the injectors better.

I haven't been, but I have seen that fuel additives seem to be almost required. The truck goes in tomorrow morning again for this.
