:help: Went for a test ride this am to check out the new air ride on my trailer, went about 15 miles, got almost home and could smell fuel WTF?? pull in the drive and got out to adjust the air in the hitch, trucks running fuel out from under the motor area. I had just installed my super tank and thought maybe a hose was loose- nope soo- as I shut the truck off it quits other than dripps, checked the oil- fresh change last night, looks fine, don't smell like fuel. Start er up and put the trailer back in the shop, un hook an pull the truck in, looks like fuel is on top in the valley??? I have had the P1093 3x, is this my problem and where do I look.
TIA
Marty

My 05 developed a very bad fuel leak after a fuel change. Turned out to be 2 things:
1. New black line fuel filter had a pin hole leak.
2. Ruptured fuel line at the fuel filter - small crack in it. Dealer thought it might have happened when filter was changed immediately prior. Took 3 weeks to come up with a new line. National backorder.

Thanks for the help- FOUND it. The fuel return line had come off, whatever I didn't burn leaked but she's fixed now.

Glad you were able to find something easy to fix. This happened about a year ago in my '02. Turned out to be the high pressure injector pump! Luckily it was covered under the 100K warranty, or it would have been about $2500!!!-:t
