I have heard that the kodiak oil pans are 15 qt capacity vs the 10 qts in the silverado for the dmax's. Why is this? Could a oil pan off a kodiak fit in a silverado if it is lifted?

wont fit stock, not sure about if its lifted with a diff drop....why do you need more oil capacity?

The sump is at the front and the upper girdle is much deeper.
