Hey guyz, so i ordered the turbo downpipe with a high performance 4" inlet/outlet muffler. Also picked up some flex pipe and a 48" 6" in diameter bullhauler stack for me truck. but i have a question before i do things.. Where does my crossoverpipe meet up with the Turbo downpipe.. do i have to buy a Y pipe? and if i do is it easy to hook the new ssdieselsupply downpipe with the stock x over pipe.. im pretty confused because my truck is in the shop and i cant see under it atm..

I guess you don't look around when you change oil. The crossover pipe runs from the driverside exhaust manifold to the passenger side manifold.The downpipe is after the turbo.

O snap so the turbo is actually getting exhaust from both manifolds? ... i thought it was only running off the 4 cylinders on the passenger side and the drivers manifold was just by passed the turbo...

nope nope. all 8 spin that turbo. now Heath's Bonneville salt flats truck is a twin turbo design with 4 cylinders feeding each turbo but they are specially designed for that application.

You should get the aftermarket crossover in the largest diameter available & return the muffler as it will have little effect on the exhaust tone. From Heath Dsl. obtain a 3in. to 4in. adapter & a 4 in.90 degree elbow to fhe stack.No need for a 4 in to 6in adapter to the stack. just let it rip from both ends of the stack. You will also need ear plugs,noise cancelling cell phone and some drugs to keep the headaches under control. Carry enough Bail cash or a Bail bond card at all times in case you come near my house.LOL
